Perfect Veal Rump Steak
1 minute each side
2 minutes each side
3minutes each side
4 minutes each side
5 minutes each side
Remove steak from fridge 20 minutes before cooking and bring to room temperature
Heat your grill or frying pan over a high heat, until smoking hot.
Brush the steak with a little olive oil and season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Turn the steaks only when good seared markings are achieved, then turn them over and cook on the other side.
Allow the steak rest for about 3 minutes before serving to allow the juices that have been drawn to the surface to relax back into the meat.
